Our 120mm diameter glue-in base plate is designed to accommodate 42mm tube with a 2mm wall, this heavy duty base plate is designed to support taller posts or gate posts as they required a wider foot to ensure a nice and solid fixing into the ground, although can get used for standard 1100mm tall posts also.
