Our Glide Fit profiles provide a fully frameless solution for your Juliet balcony. The profiles can be fixed directly to your aluminium or UPVC door or to the structure of the building itself. The frame is supplied in two sections which slide together making it structurally one of the best solutions on the market.

How do I measure the width of my glass panel?

To measure the width of your glass panel, you should either measure from outside of profile to outside of profile and deduct 74mm or measure from centre of fixing to centre of fixing and deduct 24mm as per this diagram.

How high should my Glide Fit Juliet Balcony be?

To comply with Building Regulations your Glide Fit Juliet balcony should be 1100mm in height. If your balcony is sitting above a barrier such as a retaining wall, it may be that the balcony can be shorter.

Is my Glide Fit Juliet balcony tested?

Yes. It is fully tested when fixing to a UPVC or aluminium frame for balconies up to 2000mm using 17.5mm toughened glass and for balconies up to 3000mm using 21.5mm toughened laminate glass.

Do I need a handrail?

No you do not. Our Glide Fit Juliet balcony is supplied with laminate glass and does not require a handrail.
