Our 48mm Decorative Scroll end is commonly used to terminate a handrail, finished in a high quality 316 (external grade) stainless steel brushed finish, designed to suit 48mm tube with a 2mm wall, we also 42mm end scrolls.
This versatile piece is designed to fit flush to your required position into the end of stainless steel tube, fitting couldn't be easier with the use of a plastic easy hit hammer – no need for bolts or rivets. We suggest adding our Origin glue around the seal before knocking the stop end into the tube, sealing the components together to ensure the longevity and strength of your balustrade.
The flush 90 degree tube end allows the handrail to turn down towards the floor or towards a wall, ensuring items of clothing can’t get caught if someone is to walk past. It also prevents certain dangers, removing the sharp corners from the handrail, if someone was to fall and potentially hurt themselves. In some applications, particularly commercial, building regulations may ask that your handrail has a 90 degree scroll end cap, so it’s worth double checking.
