Point fixings are a stylish and modern way to finish any landing or staircase

• They can be fixed directly into the stinger of your staircase;
• We can powder-coat the point fixings to any RAL;
• Ideal for use with floating staircases;
• We can supply a test certificate for compliance with Building Regulations;
• A handrail can be supplied with this system on request. 

Choosing the right point fixing staircase for you

• If the staircase is being installed in your home, the height of the glass should be 900mm from finished floor level;
• Our point fixings are supplied in a variety of thicknesses of back plate (10mm to 100mm). Make sure the back plate is wide enough to clear any obstacles on your staircase;
• Each panel of glass should not be more than 1.4m in length.

Installation Tips

Our technical team is on hand to help with any queries that you may have. Top tips are as follows:

• When measuring the glass on your staircase we would recommend templating the glass first. We can then manufacture the panel to reflect the template;
• If you are not having a handrail you should use laminate glass;
• The holes in your glass should be 30mm in diameter;
• We recommend purchasing with our spanner to allow you to easily tighten your point fixing.
