Our Easy Fit channel is the only system available in 3000mm lengths, we do have a bespoke cutting service available to cut your channel to size. Our balustrade U-channels have matching clamp kits for various glass thicknesses and required fitting tools. The Easy Fit 3m floor mounted base rail is made from anodised aluminium, suited for both internal and external applications, and naturally protected against salt water and corrosive conditions. This frameless glass balustrade U-Channel is suitable for installations up to 1.5kN making it perfect for commercial and domestic applications.
Easy Fit is designed to provide the greatest possible adjustment opportunities, this system enables each panel to be perfectly aligned during, or even after, installation. This innovative screw-clamp technology locks glass panels into position effortlessly, with four immobilising fasteners per meter of channel.
Origin’s base drilled easy fit channel requires two top clips (also know as top strip cover plates, cover plate top’s) per length which can be purchased separately on our website.
The channel arrives with pre-drilled holes at 150mm centres, designed to suit M10 bolts/screws depending on your application. You can purchase fixings separately on our website to suit steel, concrete, stone or timber.
At the Origin Architectural, we believe in providing you with choice, which is why we can offer bespoke sizing and RAL/BS colours at a small surcharge, so contact us to discuss our bespoke range! Most colours are available with a matt finish, gloss is available in black and silver colours and textured finishes are also possible on selected colours.
