Glass Balustrade in Clacton on Sea in Essex

We recently supplied a Frameless Glass Balustrade system to a customer in Clacton on Sea in Essex. This Frameless system is made up of our Frameless Channel in anodised aluminium with 17.5mm laminated toughened glass. This customer decided to opt for the frameless channel system as they wanted the most minimal finish for their balustrade with an uninterrupted view. As this area is coastal and quite windy the customer wanted to add stiffeners between the panels to add some more stability throughout this system.

Glass balustrades are renowned for making the most of any surrounding view, providing a seamless, frameless look that many other balustrades cannot offer. Their clean lines and simple installation make them the perfect choice for a multitude of applications. And to no surprise are becoming extremely popular when it comes to renovating your home!

Thanks to the clear view glass balustrades provide, they are ideal for balconies, patios, staircases and any other interior or exterior application.

The Benefits of Glass Balustrades

There are many benefits of glass balustrades for example they create the illusion of more space. Whether it be internal or external, the use of clear glass makes surrounding areas look even larger by allowing light into the area. This can also create a warm and airy feel to any space. Fitted alongside windows, the balustrades create a modernised, elegant ambience as the natural light is freely flowing without being blocked.

Glass balustrades are also an easy product to keep clean, the only necessities being commercial glass cleaning products and a lint-free cloth. In addition, any wear-and-tear scratches can be resolved with the use of polish. In comparison to metal or wood balustrades which aren’t as easily restored.

Through today’s advanced technology, thick, toughened or toughened and laminated glass has been designed to be strong and safe, defeating the query of glass being too delicate. Glass has also been proven to be extremely durable with the effects of ageing being almost invisible to the naked eye.

The frameless glass balustrade also has the option of adding a handrail for aesthetic or structural reasons. Here at Origin Architectural, we offer the option of powder coating to any RAL colour. This can elevate your balustrade to match the existing interior!
