Our weld on base plates are designed to be welded to either a 42mm or 48mm tube. The diameter of the base plate is 120mm. Unless you are fixing the post beneath finished floor level you will also need a cover plate. The diameter of the cover plate is 125mm. We can weld the base plates to your post on request.

Our 120mm diameter weld on base plate is designed to accommodate 48mm tube, this heavy duty base plate is designed to support taller posts or gate posts as they required a wider foot to ensure a nice and solid fixing into the ground, although can get used for standard 1100mm tall posts also. We offer a 125mm post base cover to match. This base plate is a 316 (exterior grade) stainless steel.
