Square Posts

Considering a post and rail system but not keen on round posts? Square posts are a great modern, contemporary alternative! Available to suit with, or without handrail, square posts are the up and coming style in glass balustrading. Square posts are a popular solution for internal balustrading to match the straight line aesthetic of your home. They look equally as fantastic in external applications like gardens, perfect for your upcoming patio or decking project!

We would recommend that you fit these square posts to concrete or steel where possible, as these are the two best materials to fit into. In some cases you may be able to fit into timber, however you must discuss this with the person installing your balustrade to ensure it is safe.

Our square posts are pre-fabricated to save on installation time, manufactured to the highest quality with 316 grade stainless steel in a superb brushed satin finish, they arrive completed with base plates, glass clamps, then end caps or stems and saddles depending on the variation you require! Although not listed we can offer our square posts in a mirror polished finish upon request at an additional cost.

Available in 40mm x 40mm tube, the square posts use four M8 fixings into the floor making them easy to install. The square baseplate is 100mm x 100mm in width, including the cover is 108mm x 108mm.

As standard our square posts are fabricated to suit an 1100mm height as required by building regulations, from the underside of the baseplate to the top of the cap or handrail, with glass clamps to suit 10mm toughened glass.

The square posts are available in 3 configurations, an end post, and intermediate or ‘mid’ post, and a 90 degree corner post. Other angles, clamp positions, or heights are available upon request as we can manufacture them in house to suit your upcoming project.
