All of our channel systems are supplied in strict compliance with all safety load bearing requirements. The relevant test certification can be provided on request with every order. The load bearing ratings for railing systems are set out in the British standard BS EN6180:2011. This specifies the Kn per meter that the balustrade is required to withstand without exceeding deflection of more than 25mm. The structural performance of a balustrade varies depending on the use and occupancy level of the building concerned. Advice should always be sort from a structural engineer, particularly when fixing on to concrete.

Tested on the basis that the metal insert in the frame is a minimum of 1.5mm in thickness. I attach a copy of the test report which is in German but which I think we can include anyway.   FIXING TO STEEL OR CONCRETE Skyforce is fully tested at a height of 1.1m up to a width of 3m when fixed to steel or concrete.
